I really enjoyed this one! The concept was pretty darn cool

Extremely cool game! Great job especially for 4 days! Had me suitably creeped yet curious to see more :D Feel sad for my AI friendo though :(

I had a lot of fun playing this game, the concept was great, good work :)

Seeing that 1 missing coin and everything after filled me with a very eery dread.

i had sonic music playing in the background

I really, really like your stuff. I've played this, Lake Ophelia, Winter Walk, and Fatum Betula. Each one is unique and interesting and satisfies the weird horror itch in me. Fatum Betula is definitely my favourite though! You've inspired me to learn Unity and try making little things myself. It's intimidating, but somehow, the whole PSX style makes gamedev seem more accessible. You make such beautiful, confident stuff with the style, but I feel like the ground floor of it is low enough for me to make things that look at least 'passable', or maybe even interesting. If that makes sense. Your games are great, thanks so much for making them!

Thank you! I definitely find lowpoly styles to be the easiest to work with. If you are looking to make it as easy as possible I would recommend trying out the HPSX Render Pipeline and trying to replicate the look of an N64 game.

Oh my god, cool! I'll definitely start with that pipeline, thank you.

Bought myself a new friend!

Great little game, enjoyed it very much :)

This Game Was MAD, it reminded me a bit of The Matrix, also I loved the story towards the end, It started out all chill, and peaceful, then as i played more i found out (more) I loved this game 10/10

Great Game 😀👍

How to fix it:

1. Change the Resolution at 1366 x 768 while the game is running.

2. Return it at 1920 x 1080.

3. After the Island part test the Power Box if this bug is gone... It should work!

(+1)

How do you change the resolution? :/

(1 edit) (+1)

1. Right Click on the Desktop.

2. Find the "Display Resolution".

3. Change it to 1366 x 768 & return it to 1920 x 1080

4. Run the game & make sure if the Fusebox work...

(+1)

Omg thank you, I didn't need to change the resolution back though, keeping at 1366 x 768 works fine

(+1)

seems like a good game but could not play after the beach level. spamming "E" on the power box did not do anything. by reading the comments i can tell this is a bug.

tried this but changing it at 1360 x 768 and it didnt work. my laptop highest resolution is 1366 x 768. i changed while running the game as you said and it somehow bugged my mouse and i had to close the laptop and open it again :(

Just put it at the lowest resolution & make it back to the highest resolution, ig....

"It's a good game, but there's an annoying bug with the power switch. spamming the "E" button fixed it, but it took quite a while for it to works. I know this game is quite old, but I really hope the developer fix this issue in the future."
(1 edit)

there's still the bug with the power, the game seems interesting but the problem is is that I cant turn on the pc, nothing works, I hit E to interact with the power but it didn't do a thing to the pc, another weird thing is that my flashlight powers off whenever I leave the fuse box, I think I would really enjoy this game if it worked, maybe I'm stupid and it has something to do with the esc key but that's just overcomplicated

edit: I watched a playthrough, this is absolute bull dude, it just doesn't work, I don't know what happened to where this is the case but whatever it is it sucks

(+1)

After I leave the beach then I turned on the Power then the PC (In this Horror Game) does nothing... Its just Black...

(-4)

After turning on the power, you should go bach to the PC.

It worked for me and I got to the end of the game, But yeah, maybe it doesn't explain it very well.

I hope you can play and enjoy the game, it's such a nice experience. >.<

(+1)

I don't know?!

after the beach at the beginning i hit e on the power over and over but i cant get it to do anything im just softlocked like the other comments are saying

Once leaving the beach and getting into the room with the monitor I started lagging. I'd rubber band to places I was turning from, turning to, etc. It's unfortunate because I was looking forward to playing this

I played this game a while ago and I still can't get it off my mind lol. When the AI came out of the computer was straight up terrifying- 10/10

(1 edit) (+2)

Amazing

(+3)

This game looks so neat! I can't seem to get the computer switch to flick on in the first scene though, so it's kind of softlocked me. I'm just pressing E, am I supposed to do something else?

@Bryce Butcher

when you pick up coins does it really charge you?

no

(+1)

Fix the bug because after I turn on the Power that Computer in this game does nothing!

(+1)

This was really cool!

(+1)

I LOVE this.

superb. this is exactly kind of game that i want to play on a saturday morning

Solid, short game. Really does have a weird feel to it. Great Work!

great game

(1 edit) (+1)

The game is well done and managed to convey the feeling of "liminal space" throughout the game

Well, it's worth playing, I hope the creator plays more games like this !

Cool game

This is amazing! Great Job! Keep up the good work!

Oh, no.. the switch stopped working! Is there anything I can do to fix this?

(+1)

Really cool game!

I like the multiple endings and how you can switch from the computer to reality

(+1)

That was great. The "hot swap" between the computer and "reality" was a very cool idea.

This looks so good. I love it. Also the CRT shader is beautiful.

(+1)

Really liked being sent out of the 'game' forcefully! Was very tense having to turn the light switch on and off. The "HD" and "Lo-fi" visual differences are really effective and I like how the game loops on itself.

(+1)

The game was strange with a bit of creepy sprinkled on! I liked it!

its broken buddy its very bugge send  me compleate this game if can to i make video for it
(+2)

Seems I'm unable to progress since I have the same issue already addressed in the comments about the light switch - I walk over to it, press E, hear a switch flip, but nothing changes. I'm also finding that pressing Esc doesn't really do anything, so to close the game I have to basically crash it. Seems like the game has some interesting content.

(+1)

I featured this in my video (starts at 18:45)

(1 edit) (+1)

I LOVED this game. The game mechanics were clever, the message was unsettling, and the theme is fitting for the times.

I got 2 endings. I hope that was all of them. Otherwise, I may just not have thought outside the box enough ;)

(+1)

This was like a nice slow burn of creepy. Pretty unique idea for a game. Really enjoyed it.
