Really liked this one. Super unsettling... Especially the shot of the creature in Ending B that just holds and holds and holds until your face is stolen. I have a low tolerance for horror (i.e. I shit my pants when there are loud noises and hyper-realistic blood eyes), so I appreciate that the game is focused more on building dread and fascination rather than ruining my evening.
BTW I think you have an amazing grasp on imagery. Everything in the scene contributed to this weird mix of unease, surveillance, artificiality. Loved the painting of the cabin, and strangely the blinds, they looked just grimy enough to creep me out.
Also, I thought the unfamiliarity of everything in object descriptions was a weird player contrivance at first, but looking back it feels like there's a bigger theme of information being stolen or removed. It's like the creature takes your memories too, or maybe your whole identity? Omg and the blown-out white balance hiding the girl's face in the framed photo mirrors the whole face-stealing thing... I'm a genius... Thanks for the great game!
finally got around to playing this and GOD that was unsettling! it takes a lot of craft to shape horror from the mundane. i couldn't stop thinking about it for like days after i played it, and it wound up making me think about how great retro horror is in general.
i ended up writing a video essay about my experience--this is inspiring stuff!!
Spoilers, maybe: Watched a friend play it and he came across the fibonacci sequence, but I can't replicate finding it myself. The case files mention numbers and patterns. I'm starting to think there's more to this game than meets the eye.
I've recorded the gameplay of this game and honestly one of the scariest games I've ever played! I had really an hard time to stare at the screen in more than one moment! Great Job really!
I love that this game got me to get out my pen and paper to jot down notes - very immersive. Having different endings is always appreciated too. I made a video of my playthrough with commentary.
Your game was the 2nd game I played in this video I recently created. The only problem I have with it is the code didn't work for the computer password and I am not sure. But, nevertheless, here's the video
So I'm presuming (And hoping) there's just 3 endings? ;o A B and C? I couldn't figure out how to shoot myself like in the original so I just assumed it and the easter egg ending were taken out.

I don't know if it's possible but I would kill for this to be playable on a PS1 emulator.
Just checking if we can rebind controls...
nope

i had a big sandwich with pickles while playing this but i prefer the original to be honest but still pretty cool
Genius game. This and the original. Really they are one game. I won't say more. And it was f**king hard to find that out! :'D

I LOVED this. I think I'm going to have nightmares tonight because of ending B. Well done.
Increible, sufrí con el código pero ha estado muy bien, te hace pensar y estas inmerso en la historia. Es muy bueno.
Really cool game! It felt so nice when I finally decrypted the code hahhaha I got ending B, I wonder what I should do to get the A...
Here's a lil video!
Had a great time streaming this! Accidentally hit the Esc key so it's 2 parts. I got ending B.
